I have kodak easyshare software for my current camera (a kodak) on my computer, will I be able to import photos onto my computer using that software with an olympus or lumix camera? If not is there any other software suitable for windows xp that is useful for all cameras, like iphoto on apple?
no. windows xp should automatically pick up the camera and move the pictures for you. you can still edit the shots with the kodak software but it will not transfer from your camera.
