    I’m not an expert here, but I think it depends on what software you use to upload your photos. I think that many photo programs retain tags. But if you’re just copying the photos from your camera’s memory card to your PC, I don’t honestly know if they’re retained.

    You can email them to a special address that’s unique to your Facebook account. You can upload them with a status update post using the “Attach” feature below the box. You would use the USB to transfer them. These both post the pics on your wall. Or you can create albums and upload them using their Facebook tools. Look for or add a photos tab. I’ve always had to use the “Simple Uploader” because my computer’s security software doesn’t like the other.
