    this camera is …
this camera is horrible. it eats up batteries in only 15 pictures and 2 minutes of video!!!! has horrible image stabilization, and very bad indoor and low light quality. the only think this camera does well is take vibrant pictures outside.

Pazera mov to avi converter; it is a free download and it will convert .mov files to .avi or .mpg . Convert to .mpg for WMM.

    They are in .Mov …
They are in .Mov Quicktime format. I edit on the Mac, so no converters are needed. By the way, WMM sucks in comparison to prettymuch every other editor on the planet.

    Actually in …
Actually in comparisons I did w/ point and shoots for a project, I found Kodak’s point and shoot compact’s stood out with less image noise and better color accuracy. Now, I cannot account for superzooms.

    If you want studio …
If you want studio quality pictures, don’t use a point and shoot.

    Seems like the …
Seems like the people buying this camera are the weak link. Seriously, before you just buy a camera, unbox it and start to shoot, please actually take a look at the instruction manual, and if you dont feel like taking a weekend course on how to shoot better pictures then at least look up a site on the net that gives some pointers on picture taking. About 90% of the problems you have described could have been avoided with some educated buying and snapping.

    If one would …
If one would research the camera, one would find that getting the 2600mAh rechargeable batteries solves the battery problem that most novices are seeing. This is not a 2mega pixel camera. The images are large and it takes processing power to render these functions.
The video is simply an extra feature. U want stable video get a REAL video camera, not a photographic camera. In you HAVE to use this camera for video, get a tripod or learn to shoot with a stable platform. Steal this camera for $100

    the biggest piece …
the biggest piece of crap i ever bought . after i took about 20 pictures the batteries were dead and half the pictures were unusable because they were blurry or had a lot of noise. the video feature is a joke you would be sick to your stomach watching it because it was so shaky. I took maybe a grand total of 100 pictures with this camera and went through 6 sets of batteries. maybe i just got a bad one. looking forward to my canon to arrive
